Concert - SLASH ft Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators
14 February 2015 was one of the most epic days since I had returned to Malaysia after 4 years. It was not because it was the valentines day and we were celebrating the love. On January 20th we had bought these tickets for a concert that we had been wanting to go to since we found out that they were coming to Malaysia. Drawback was that I had an exam the very next day.
I found myself weighing out what I should do about the concert and the exam. I decided I am going to get both of it. I studied, for a week before the concert so I did not have to cram before the exam and not miss out on the legendary SLASH. It was the best decision ever. I was relaxed and happy when I left to do my exam and was able to do the exam well enough to sleep without crying.
Seeing SLASH performing on the stage was crazy epic. I don't remember having that much fun. When they started playing "sweet child of mine" the entire crowd started to roar with delight. And the finale song - "Paradise city" left the crowd crazy.

My cresent shaped very yummy PANCAKES
I have never in my life ever made pan cakes before. So this morning I decided to make some. I had recently bought some cook books to teach me to be a domestic goddess in the kitchen . " The beginners how to cook book" was out of the shelf and lying on top of my study notes ( Did I mention I have two exams soon). Page 53 showed how to make plain pancakes that I was not sure would taste good. So I prayed to Google and it was answered and directed me to "allrecipes.com". I liked the recipe I found there, but I did not have all the ingredients needed. (Why do you need baking soda for pancakes?) Anyway, I improvised and made pancakes that looked like amoebas, crescents and a star . Lesson learnt while making the pancakes - I NEED A PROPER PAN that does not have indentations in the middle making everything burn
My very yummy Crescent shaped pancake with Heinz breakfast syrup.

Public transport to College
Public transport to College - Student Life in Malaysia
Going to college is an hour ride via public transport. From Bukit Jalil LRT (Ampang line) station to Masjid Jamek LRT interchange station where I switch trains to Kelana Jaya line to reach Universiti LRT Station. And then take a Bus to college. Every day it is different. These rides to college and back home is one of the most exciting journeys I take daily in Malaysia. It tells me a different story every day, show me a different aspect of the Malaysian life and I meet the most ridiculous and most amazing people.

INSAAF!
Camera angle served justice to the entire film creating such an awesome style that i am sure would make directors like Micheal Bay adapt to this new technique very soon. The dialogues were made in such a way that is sings lullaby to the audience , but that is we could make out the audible nonsense. Noises like dragging of a chair was emphasized so that it adds a beat to the already awesome sound track. Through out the movie, high pitched sounds ( shrieks, scream and normal talking) were used ensure that it could be re produced and extracted as an alarm ringtone. Pure genius thinking I tell you .
Introduction to the very unexpected romance can be described as a magnetic attraction of north to south. It was discontinued to not turn it in to a sad community loving movie , though subtle attraction is shown by accidents and failed pranks.
The entire movie was located in an island setting and frankly a low budget movie has more location than this chair gripping movie. There were genuinely remarkable moments in the movie, for instance during the first and only song in the movie, a girl wipes her ass on the entire screen with a fluffy skirt.
"Insaaf" would be an ideal movie to be shown in a cinematography class. The new style of shooting where subject being blurred, out of focus and weird camera angles just set a very exemplary style of shooting that should be avoided. The entire story of the movie shows corruption in an island setting, which made the movie very bearable. It was a good story. and there was ONE very funny moment that you should see for yourself which actually doesnt really make any sense to the movie!
